Soapstone installation is easy as can be! Since soapstone can be cut in a smaller slab size, the weight allows it to be easily moved into position by a minimum of two people. Soapstone slabs can be cut and worked with an everyday circular saw or router. Edges are finished by hand or with your average wood working tools. Here is what our professional consultation will provide: Step 1: First, we want to go over your soapstone countertop project and make sure that it is practical for a DIY application. Once you have selected the perfect color for your kitchen or bathroom we will be able to get you a final price for your project. Step 4: Is the DIY program a good fit for your project? At this point you can make a decision on whether the DIY program is a good fit for your project or not. At this point many people decide it is a good fit and move forward to purchase their stone and accessories to complete their DIY project. However, if you decide that the DIY program is not a good fit for your project we can then recommend a professional soapstone fabricator in your area where you can get pricing for the professional soapstone fabricator to do the complete project for you.
