Dorado Soapstone currently imports and stocks 8 types of Brazilian soapstone. Our Slabs range from 48" x 26" to 116" x 66" and everything in between.
Beleza Stone
Medium pearl grey with flowing emerald colored veins. When oiled, turns dark black with a small amount of dark green marbling.
Porto Alegre
This stone has a light – medium texture to the surface
Medium to dark green base with with clear white veins
When oiled dark black undertone with dark green marbling and clear white veins.
Sao Luis
This stone has a light – medium texture to the surface
Medium to dark green base with emarld Veins
When oiled dark black undertone with dark green marbling.
Minas
Light blue grey with small to medium white veins. When oiled dark black with small to medium white veins throughout stone.
Beleza Leathered
This stone has a light – medium texture to the surface
Medium to dark green base with emarld Veins
When oiled dark black undertone with dark green marbling.
Verde Minas
Medium blue with small to large white veins. When oiled dark green to black with small to large white veins.
Brazilian Duro
Flat black with little to no movement when waxed or oiled. Un-oiled is light grey/green with veins. These veins and the light grey/green tint turn to a dark flat black when wax or oil is used.
